Are you considering running your first Full Marathon? Can you commit to running at least three days a week?  If so, this is the plan for you! Of course, if you have any health concerns, please make sure to seek your physician’s advice before starting.

Matt Wilpers has coached many athletes, from beginners to Ironman triathletes, through training programs successfully! He specializes in endurance sports including running, cycling and triathlon. One of the most important aspects of being successful in this program, or any of his programs, is to allocate sufficient time for both training and the necessary maintenance work to be performed. This plan will guide you through a full 18 weeks of training to be able to run for your first marathon.

Novice Runner program includes:

  • 18 week detailed schedule of training
  • 3-4 specific runs per week with pacing info
  • Information on cross-training, stretching, foam rolling for off days from running
  • Basic nutrition information for runners
  • Coaching tips from Matt

Prior to starting this plan, it is helpful, although not required, to start consistently running 3-4 times a week. Enroll in this program now to gain access to all the details you need!
